Seperti yang disampaikan Ayu Maharani (17) sebagai seorang pelajar asal Bojong Baru Kabupaten Bogor sadar memiliki perlindungan kesehatan merupakan hal penting.
Hal tersebut makin ia pahami ketika orang tuanya begitu peduli terhadap keaktifan kepesertaan program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) bagi seluruh keluarga. Sejak ada Program JKN, orang tua Ayu langsung mendaftarkan masuk dalam kepesertaan mandiri. Hingga akhirnya Ayu dan keluarga beralih menjadi tanggungan perusahaan di tempat ayahnya bekerja.
“Ayah yang suruh daftar sekeluarga buat jaminan kesehatan jaga-jaga kalau sakit. Saya menyadari adanya Program JKN ini memberikan kesan berbeda, dulu sebelum menjadi peserta JKN membuat keluarga khawatir soal biaya sedangkan sekarang cukup dengan rutin membayar iuran setiap bulan sudah dapat dimudahkan dalam berobat dan dijamin penuh biaya pengobatan. Sudah menjadi andalan sekeluarga kalau sakit yang dibawa ya Kartu JKN,” ujar Ayu, Rabu (07/12)
Walau masih berusia muda, ia memiliki pemikiran yang matang bahwa Program JKN ini merupakan pilihan tepat bagi masyarakat Indonesia, terutama bagi yang memiliki penghasilan yang tidak banyak. Ia juga menceritakan dirinya pernah memanfaatkan JKN untuk berobat ke poli gigi di Klinik Assalam, bersama dengan ayahnya yang juga berobat mereka mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan hanya bermodal Kartu JKN tanpa mengeluarkan biaya sepeser pun.
“Yang penting rutin membayar iuran setiap bulan maka manfaat yang besar bisa didapatkan. Walaupun kita tidak sakit tetap harus rutin membayar iuran, dan bukan hal yang rugi karena biaya tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan peserta JKN lainnya yang membutuhkan, itu lah konsep gotong royong yang saya pahami. Sebagai perlindungan sebelum sakit sudah seharusnya masyarakat mendaftar sedini mungkin dan rutin membayar iuran setiap bulannya,” tutup Ayu.
