Pembekuan Kegiatan Usaha tersebut dilakukan karena PT Rifan Financindo Berjangka tidak melakukan langkah-langkah perbaikan atas pengenaan sanksi administratif berupa peringatan tertulis yang diterbitkan oleh Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi sebanyak lebih dari 3 (tiga) kali berturut -turut.
Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan Bappebti, PT Rifan Financindo Berjangka dalam proses penerimaan Nasabah dan proses pelaksanaan transaksi tidak sesuai dengan prosedur, dan Direktur Utama dan Direktur Kepatuhan tidak menjalankan tugas, fungsi dan kewenangan dalam hal memastikan kegiatan operasional PT Rifan Financindo Berjangka sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan di bidang Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi, sertaPT Rifan Financindo Berjangka tidak dapat mempertahankan reputasi bisnis dengan banyaknya jumlah pengaduan Nasabah.
