Safari Jurnalistik yang diselenggarakan PWI Kabupaten Bogor, diikuti oleh para Kepala Desa, Pengurus APDESI dan, segenap UPTD se-Kecamatan Ciampea.
Sementara Ketua PWI Kab Bogor Subagiyo mengatakan, wartawan harus memiliki sikap Independen, akurat,profesional dan berimbang dalam menjalankan tugas jurnalistiknya.
” Wartawan Indonesian harus menguji dan meneliti dan kroscek terhadap setiap informasi yang diterima, ” tegas Subagio dihadapan peserta Safari Jurnalistik.
Menurutnya, keberadaan UU Pokok Pers, Kode Etik Jurnalistik,merupakan rambu rambu hukum yang patut ditaati para insan pers. Sebab dengan rambu rambu ini, wartawan tidak bisa bertindak seenaknya dalam menjalankan tugas atau profesinya.
“Dengan kata lain, wartawan bukan mahkluk yang kebal hukum. Mereka bisa ditindak sesuai dengan tingkat permasalahan yang mereka buat,”jelasnya.
Apalagi tambah Bagiyo, sekarang ada UU ITE yang bisa mengancam wartawan masuk ranah pidana, jika dalam menulis atau memuat beritanya tidak akurat atau bahkan berita bohong (HOAX) , tukasnya.
Sementara Untung Bahtiar, dalam makalahnya,mengajak segenap aparatur wilayah,untuk melek teknologi informasi berbasis digital.
Kemajuan teknologi berbasis digital,membuat informasi dunia semakin terbuka luas.Situasi ini,bisa menjadi positif tapi juga negatif,tergantung bagaimana cara kita menyikapinya,jelas Untung.
Sedangkan Saeful Kurniana (Wakil Ketua III) dalam pemaparannya menekankan bahwa profesi wartawan harus betul-betul memahami dan menjalankan Kode Etik Jurnalistiknya, untuk menghindari delik hukum yang bisa menyeret pribadi wartawan tersebut ke ranah Pidana.
