JAKARTA, (BS) – Presiden Joko Widodo melantik dan mengambil sumpah jabatan anggota Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) dan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) masa jabatan tahun 2022-2027. Acara pelantikan berlangsung di Istana Negara, Jakarta, pada Selasa, 12 April 2022 dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan ketat.
Pelantikan anggota KPU masa jabatan 2022-2027 dilakukan berdasarkan Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 33/P Tahun 2022 tentang Pemberhentian dan Pengangkatan Anggota Komisi Pemilihan Umum.
“Bahwa saya akan memenuhi tugas dan kewajiban saya sebagai anggota Komisi Pemilihan Umum, sebagai anggota Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum dengan sebaik-baiknya sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan dengan berpedoman pada Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945,” ujar Presiden Joko Widodo saat mendiktekan penggalan sumpah jabatan.
“Bahwa saya dalam menjalankan tugas dan wewenang akan bekerja dengan sungguh-sungguh, jujur, adil, dan cermat demi suksesnya pemilihan umum anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Daerah, Presiden dan Wakil Presiden, serta Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah, tegaknya demokrasi dan keadilan, serta mengutamakan kepentingan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia daripada kepentingan pribadi atau golongan,” lanjutnya.
Dalam keterangannya selepas pelantikan, perwakilan anggota KPU, Hasyim Asy’ari mengatakan bahwa pihaknya akan segera melakukan konsolidasi internal untuk mempelajari persiapan jelang Pemilu 2024 yang telah dilakukan oleh anggota KPU periode sebelumnya. Hasyim menambahkan, pada Rabu esok (13/4), para anggota KPU dijadwalkan akan melakukan rapat dengar pendapat dan rapat kerja bersama DPR dan pemerintah.
“Semoga dalam waktu dekat kita dapat menetapkan Peraturan KPU tentang tahapan Pemilu 2024 dalam rangka untuk memastikan bahwa penyelenggaraan Pemilu tahun 2024 akan berjalan sesuai rencana, jadwal yang telah ditentukan,” ucap Hasyim.
Senada, perwakilan anggota Bawaslu, Rahmat Bagja juga berharap Peraturan KPU dapat segera disahkan sehingga pihaknya dapat segera menyusun Peraturan Bawaslu dalam mengawasi seluruh proses tahapan pemilu. Selain itu, menurut Rahmat, Bawaslu juga akan menyusun dan memperbaiki standar tata laksana pengawasan pemilu.
“Kami bersama-sama akan melakukan seluruh proses pengawasan tahapan penyelenggaraan pemilu yang akan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni ini,” ujar Rahmat.
Hadir dalam acara pelantikan tersebut antara lain Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik, Hukum, dan Keamanan Mahfud Md., Menteri Dalam Negeri Tito Karnavian, Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung, Ketua Komisi II DPR RI Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung, Ketua KPU periode 2017-2022 Ilham Saputra, dan Ketua Bawaslu periode 2017-2022 Abhan.
