MEKKAH, (BS) – Menteri Agama Yaqut Cholil Qoumas meminta para petugas yang tergabung dalam Panitia Penyelenggara Ibadah Haji (PPIH) Arab Saudi untuk totalitas melayani jemaah.

Pesan ini ditegaskan Menag saat Ta’aruf Petugas PPIH Arab Saudi di Gedung Wardstul Baidho, Syara’i Al Khadra Mekkah. “Tolong jemaah haji di tanah suci ini anggaplah sebagai ibu kita, bapak kita, saudara kita, adik kita, kakak kita sehingga secara total bisa memberikan pelayanan dengan baik,” kata Menag Yaqut di hadapan dua ribu petugas haji Indonesia, Selasa (5/7/2022) malam.

Menag berharap petugas haji dapat berempati kepada para jemaah yang telah menantikan momentum sakral ini. “Jemaah haji ini sudah menunggu sangat lama hingga puluhan tahun. Tolong berikan pelayanan terbaik,”ujar pria yang akrab disapa Gus Men.

Acara Malam Ta’aruf diikuti para petugas haji dari seluruh Daerah Kerja (Daker) mulai Makkah, Madinah serta Daker Bandara dengan seluruh sektor yang ada.

Seluruh Amirul Hajj, perwakilan anggota DPR, DPD, BPK, BPKH, serta seluruh pejabat Kementerian Agama dan pejabat dari berbagai lembaga yang membidani haji juga hadir.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Gus Men juga mengapresiasi pelayanan yang telah diberikan petugas sejak dimulainya operasional haji hingga saat ini.

“Jika mampu saya ingin berganti tempat (dengan para petugas). Saya serius. Karena petugas itu pahalanya tidak terbalas dengan apa yang saya lakukan hari ini,” tuturnya.

Ia berharap, semangat melayani ini terus ada sepanjang rangkaian Armuzna hingga selesai operasional haji. “Petugas haji harus tetap semangat karena dalam proses Armuzna membutuhkan tenaga yang ekstra dalam melayani jemaah haji lusa nanti,” pesan Gusmen.

“Kita tetap semangat melayani jemaah haji Indonesia, yakinlah pahala yg saudara terima, tidak hanya mengalir untuk diri sendiri. Tapi akan meleber saudara di rumah bapak, ibu, adik, kakak, keluarga kita. Insya Allah,” pungkasnya.
