JAKARTA, (BS) – Transformasi Digital menjadi salah satu program prioritas Kementerian Agama. Selain pada layanan birokrasi, transformasi digital juga berlangsung pada aspek pendidikan.
Untuk itu Kementerian Agama memberikan pelatihan digital bagi para guru yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI).
“Digitalisasi kini sudah menjadi bagian dari dunia pendidikan kita. Jangan sampai para Guru PAI SMA dan SMK terkesan gagap teknologi, tidak siap merespon laju perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang begitu cepat,” ujar Direktur PAI Amrullah, di Jakarta, Senin (19/9/2022).
Pelatihan digital ini diberikan kepada 32 lembaga MGMP PAI SMA/SMK penerima Bantuan Pemberdayaan dari Direktorat PAI, Ditjen Pendidikan Islam Kementerian Agama. Penerima bantuan adalah lembaga MGMP PAI SMA/SMK yang dinyatakan lolos seleksi administrasi yang dilakukan pada 6 – 28 April 2022.
Menurut Amrullah, pemberian bantuan ini dimaksudkan sebagai stimulan dalam membangun ekosistem sekaligus akselerasi transformasi digital di lingkup lembaga MGMP PAI SMA/SMK. Adapun pelatihan yang diberikan berupa Google Workspace for Education yang digelar secara daring.
Amrullah menegaskan bahwa peran MGMP perlu diperkuat agar mampu menjadi wadah bersama dalam bertukar wawasan dan pengetahuan di antara sesama Guru PAI SMA dan SMK.
“Bantuan pemberdayaan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan peran MGMP PAI SMA dan SMK sebagai organisasi pembelajar. Sesama Guru PAI dapat bertukar wawasan dan pengetahuan melalui media MGMP. Kami harap dana bantuan digunakan secara tepat guna agar spirit untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital semakin tumbuh di kalangan Guru PAI SMA dan SMK,” tukasnya.
Kasubdit PAI pada SMA/SMALB/SMK Abdullah Faqih selaku penanggung jawab pelaksanaan bantuan menyatakan bahwa pelatihan Google Workspace for Education yang diikuti oleh Guru PAI SMA/SMK perwakilan MGMP rencananya terdiri dari empat rangkaian kegiatan, yakni: (1) Basic Training; (2) Advance Training; (3) Kelas Persiapan Pendidik Bersertifikasi Google Level 1; dan (4) Kelas Persiapan Pendidik Bersertifikasi Google Level 2.
“Ada empat tahapan kegiatan yang harus dilalui oleh peserta pelatihan. Harapannya para peserta mampu mengikuti tahap demi tahap secara tuntas dan di akhir dapat memperoleh sertifikat Google Level 2 untuk persiapan sebagai instruktur,” terang Faqih.
Faqih berharap agar para peserta mengikuti pelatihan daring ini dengan sungguh-sungguh, sehingga apa yang menjadi tujuan dari pemberian bantuan itu sendiri dapat tercapai.
“Para Guru PAI SMA/SMK yang mengikuti pelatihan dibiayai oleh dana bantuan yang diterima MGMP. Amat disayangkan jika para peserta tidak serius dalam menjalankan Amanah yang diberikan MGMP. Terlebih, nantinya para peserta diminta untuk berbagi ilmu yang didapat melalui diseminasi yang dilakukan MGMP di wilayah masing-masing,” pungkas Faqih.
Pelatihan Basic Training Google Workspace for Education sudah terlaksana pada 5 – 9 September 2022. Saat ini, pelatihan memasuki tahapan Advance Training yang berlangsung dari 19 – 23 September 2022. Adapun Kelas Persiapan Pendidik Bersertifikasi Google Level 1 akan dilaksanakan pada 3 – 6 Oktober 2022, dan Level 2-nya pada 17 – 20 Oktober 2022.
Fasilitator pelatihan adalah para instruktur berpengalaman dari PT Duta Digital Informatika yang merupakan salah satu mitra resmi Google for Education di Indonesia.
