Hari Anak Nasional: Presiden Jangan Sampai Terjadi Lagi Perundungan Anak

BOGOR, (BS) – Presiden Joko Widodo menghadiri acara peringatan Hari Anak Nasional yang digelar di Kebun Raya Bogor, Jawa Barat, pada Sabtu, 23 Juli 2022. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Presiden mengaku senang dapat bisa berinteraksi dan melihat keceriaan dan keaktifan anak-anak yang menunjukkan kreativitasnya.

“Saya senang melihat anak-anak ceria seperti ini dengan kreativitas yang bermacam-macam dengan menunjukkan keaktifannya. Saya kira itulah sebetulnya dunia anak-anak. Jangan kita terlalu memaksa anak-anak untuk sesuai dengan keinginan orang-orang dewasa karena memang anak-anak adalah anak-anak, dunia mereka adalah dunia anak-anak,” ujar Kepala Negara.

Kepala Negara mengatakan bahwa anak-anak memiliki dunia bermain dengan keceriaannya mereka masing-masing. Oleh sebab itu, Presiden berharap agar kasus perundungan _(bullying)_ dan segala bentuk kekerasan terhadap anak-anak tidak akan terjadi lagi.

“Inilah yang harus kita jaga bersama-sama agar anak-anak kita ini memiliki dunia bermain, dunia anak-anak dengan keceriaannya mereka. Jangan sampai terjadi lagi yang namanya perundungan,” tutur Presiden.

Presiden menuturkan bahwa kasus perundungan yang terjadi merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak untuk mencegahnya, termasuk orang tua, para pendidik, dan seluruh masyarakat.

“Saya kira perundungan yang namanya penyiksaan fisik, yang namanya kekerasan secara verbal, kekerasan fisik saya kira semuanya jangan terjadi lagi. Dan ini sekali lagi tanggung jawab orang tua, tanggung jawab para pendidik, tanggung jawab sekolah, dan tanggung jawab masyarakat, kita semuanya,” ucap Kepala Negara.

Lebih lanjut, Presiden Jokowi menegaskan bahwa semua kasus kekerasan, baik kekerasan fisik maupun seksual harus diproses secara hukum dengan tegas sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada sehingga kasus tersebut tidak akan terjadi lagi ke depannya.

“Karena memang aturannya itu tidak diperbolehkan dan itu ada pidananya. Saya kira penegakan hukum yang keras, penegakan hukum yang tegas terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan yang seperti itu memang menjadi tanggung jawab kita semuanya untuk memagari agar tidak terjadi lagi,” tutur Presiden.

Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam kegiatan tersebut antara lain Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati Puspayoga, dan Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
