CIJERUK, (BS) – Seorang wanita lanjut usia yang sedang menambang pasir di Kampung Cihideung RT 02 RW 02, Desa Cipelang, Kecamatan Cijeruk, Bogor, Jawa Barat, tertimbun tanah longsor, Minggu (06/11/2022).
Warga yang mengetahui kejadian tersebut segera melakukan upaya evakuasi dengan alat seadanya, namun saat ditemukan korban ditemukan sudah tidak bernyawa.
“Satu korban jiwa atas nama Mar’ah (55) warga setempat, warga melakukan upaya evakuasi dengan alat seadanya, sementara korban telah dibawa ke rumah duka untuk dimakamkan,” ungkap Camat Cijeruk Bangun Septa Siswa kepada awak media.
Ia mengatakan, lokasi tersebut memang menjadi lokasi tambang pasir liar yang kerap dimanfaatkan oleh warga sekitar. Meskipun sudah beberapa kali diingatkan bahkan sudah sempat disegel oleh tim satuan polisi pamong praja (Satpol-PP) Kabupaten Bogor, namun warga tetap membandel.
“Tambang pasir itu sempat disegel agar tidak ada aktivitas penambangan,” tandasnya.
