CIBINONG, (BS) – Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Bupati Bogor Iwan berharap dan meminta dengan dilantiknya kepengurusan cabang PMII Kabupaten Bogor dapat memberikan kontribusi positif aktif bagi pembangunan Kabupaten Bogor.
Harapan tersebut disampaikan Iwan Setiawan saat menghadiri kegiatan pelantikan Pengurus Cabang Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII) Kabupaten Bogor oleh Perwakilan PMII Pusat, yang berlangsung di Gedung DPRD Kabupaten Bogor, Rabu (1/5/22).
“Saya atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor juga mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh pengurus PMII Kabupaten Bogor periodenya 1 tahun yaitu 2022-2023 yang baru saja dilantik. Tentu kepengurusan sebelumnya yang sudah baik, mudah-mudahan di kepengurusan PMII yang baru ini bisa lebih baik dan harus memberikan kontribusi positif dan sifatnya konstruktif bagi Kabupaten Bogor,” ujar Iwan Setiawan.
Lanjut Iwan Setiawan menyatakan, Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bogor juga perlu dukungan, saran dan masukan dari rekan mahasiswa, organisasi pemuda dan organisasi kemasyarakatan salah satunya PMII Kabupaten Bogor untuk mendukung dan mendorong kelancaran kemajuan dan pembangunan Kabupaten Bogor, dari tingkat kabupaten hingga tingkat desa.
“Karena kita punya wadah melalui Program Sarjana Membangun Desa. Kehadiran PMII juga diharapkan mampu memberikan pendampingan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan di desa,” tambahnya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa pemerintah ini adalah milik bersama, milik seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Bogor, sehingga pengawasan dari seluruh masyarakat juga sangat dibutuhkan dalam menjalankan roda pemerintahan supaya tepat sasaran.
“PMII sebagai agen perubahan, bisa jadi calon pemimpin masa depan Kabupaten Bogor. Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor juga siap mendukung kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh teman-teman PMII yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Bogor,” tukas Plt. Bupati Bogor.
Kemudian, Ketua PMII Kabupaten Bogor, Miftahudin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Plt. Bupati Bogor yang telah hadir melantik Pengurus Cabang PMII Kabupaten Bogor. Hal itu menjadi motivasi bagi PMII untuk selalu menjunjung tinggi kebaikan, rasa empati baik sesama manusia, lingkungan juga dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor.
“Kami PMII Kabupaten Bogor beserta anggota-anggota selalu menjunjung tinggi akhlakul karimah yang diamanatkan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW,” tandasnya.
